Steve is joint custodian and manager of the Little Oak Permaculture Site, where the course is run, giving course participant lots of opportunity to see permaculture designs implemented. Steve first became acquainted with permaculture in the mid 2010s and completed his Permaculture Design Course in 2019. Since then he has continued his learning journey to assist the development of the Little Oak Permaculture Site. Steve is currently completing his Diploma in Applied Permaculture with the Permaculture Association of Britain.

Steve has extensive experience of training adults in a variety of technical subjects in a business environment and for many years as a volunteer tutor in classrooms and in-car for RoSPA Advanced Drivers Association where he held a Diploma in Advanced Driving Tuition. He also trained people to become advanced driving tutors including for them to obtain the Diploma in Advanced Driving Tuition. He is also a trained teacher of Permaculture.
